The recent DrupalcampNH 2011 was a tremendous success! Between the exceedingly professional-looking name tags, printed schedules and banners, the amazing set of volunteers on the day who helped coordinate all of the attendees, and the quite extensive selection of sessions, New Hampshire has stood up to be counted with the best of the regional Drupalcamps.
Bluespark Labs were exceedingly delighted to contribute to the day's success, with myself being one of the featured speakers, a code sprint to help the Nodewords module, and a financial sponsorship to help offset the costs and contribute to the future of the Drupal community in New Hampshire. The community aspect of the Drupal ecosphere is one of its strongest tenants, so contributing as we did is a small price to help strengthen it.
The code sprint ended up being a little small but several nagging issues were resolved so it was time well spent. The presentation went well and the small audience (many left after lunch to avoid the impending snow storm) seemed appreciative. The slides for the presentation have been uploaded, and if you have any feedback on the session or the slides please let us know below.
So, a huge word of thanks to Jake Strawn for organizing the event, the many volunteers for helping on the day, the University of Southern New Hampshire for the venue, and the speakers and attendees for all making it a rousing success. I look forward to contributing more to next year's camp, and hopefully seeing many of you there!
We'd love to partner with you on your next project!
